Both the Drosselmeyer Nutcracker and the LemonFriend squeezer were part of the Chicago Tribune's Primetime Gadgets on Jan. 11, 2012.
Here's the blurb on the stunning Drosselemeyer Nutcracker:
"Cracking nuts can be a tough task for anyone, and practically impossible for someone with weak hands or arthritis. The Drosselmeyer Nutcracker is an ergonomically designed nutcracker that makes cracking nuts a cinch. It has won numerous design awards for its form and function, and it's easy to see why. Its cool Scandinavian simplicity gives it an ultra-modern look. The nutcracker also holds the shells, so they don't go flying around the room making a mess to clean up later. It retails for $45 at specialty kitchen stores and online stores."
Our friend, the LemonFriend:
"The LemonFriend is your friend too. It is a simple plastic squeezer for citrus slices that keeps sensitive hands free from potentially painful acid. It keeps things neat when you only need a small amount of lemon for tea, or a squeeze of lime on your food. LemonFriend's design also keeps the seeds from dropping into your food or drink. It's designed in Scandinavia, so it has a snappy modern look and a bright lemon color. Retails for $9.99 at specialty kitchen stores and online stores."
Both great and easy to use products that make your nut and lemon life hassle-free :)
